Greetings to all our Unit Leaders for District M and Legacy Lake Minnetonka District.
In light of all the challenges with COVID 19 and our challenges with social distancing, we will be moving our District Dinner date. Our newly scheduled date will be Thursday June 4th at Minnetonka Community Center. Please mark this date on your calendar. We are hopeful we can celebrate our unit leaders and District leaders during that time.
The date change presents us with the opportunity to provide you with more time to submit your unit leaders for awards and recognition. Our new due date for submitting awards will be May 1st. If you have not already done so, please think about nominating your units cubmaster, scoutmaster, committee member, den leader, Assistant Scoutmaster, scout family or district leaders for recognition.Nominate a deserving Scouter!
Also don’t forget each unit needs to submit one leader for the Glowing Ember. There should be one member per unit submitted for the glowing ember and that leader will be recognized at the dinner.
Details regarding registration for the dinner will be available in the next couple weeks.
