Northern Star Council – New Communications
The new Council Communications Committee has established a monthly schedule of targeted emails designed to provide information and resources for our units. They are being sent as follows:
eNavigator is sent on the first of every month.
Northern Starlight – Cub Scouting is sent during the first full week
Northern Starlight – Scouts BSA/Venturing is sent during the second week
Northern Starlight – Council/District Volunteers is sent during the third week
We hope you enjoy our first edition of these new monthly emails as part of our “Units First” council-wide initiative! Each edition will contain tips, program suggestions, real-life stories and details on upcoming events – information you can use immediately in your den and pack.
“Northern Starlight” refers to Northern Star Scouting helping to “illuminate the way” and is “light” reading. In addition to this publication, our new Council Communications Committee is working to enhance communications in the upcoming program year with:
- Dynamic, subscribable calendars based on your Scouting role and interests
- Optional text communications
- Website improvements
- Additional email offerings
- A portal where you can set and manage your subscription preferences for these communications.
