2017 Grey Wolf (National Youth Leadership Training)
It is now time for units to nominate youth to attend Grey Wolf for the 2017 training. Grey Wolf is Northern Star Council’s home of National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT). Youth attending Grey Wolf will find themselves in a welcoming environment, firmly rooted in the Scout Oath and Law, focused on helping each individual develop his or her leadership potential. Dates
The Grey Wolf staff is already working diligently to prepare an excellent program for the summer of 2017. We will will offer four Grey Wolf courses in the summer of 2017, all held at Fred C. Andersen Scout Camp:
- June 11 – 17
- June 18 – 24
- June 25 – July 1
- July 2-8
Register
Letters explaining the nomination process will be sent out in late January to all Scoutmasters and Crew Advisors. This year’s nomination deadline is April 1, 2017. It is very important that all Grey Wolf nominations be approved by either the Scoutmaster or Crew Advisor and be submitted no later than this date. Units and youth selected to attend will receive confirmation letters. It is then the responsibility of the youth, his/her parents, and/or the unit to submit payment, medical forms, and other necessary documents as indicated in the confirmation letter by May 1, 2017.
