2018 Fall Camporee Planning Meeting – HORSE RANCH CAMPOUT – Thursday, Aug 30 7:00PM – Excelsior Library

To 2018 Fall Camporee Host Units:

We’re inviting representatives form Troops 174, 303, 330, 409, 589, and 702, (the hosts for the upcoming Fall camporee) and all district or other volunteers that want to help plan our upcoming Fall Camporee to be held Sept 21-23, 2018 at River Valley Ranch in Carver.

The theme for this Fall’s Camporee is “Horse Ranch Campout”, or alternatively, “Legume-a-palooza”.  This is going to be a blow out of a camporee.  The last horse ranch themed camporee was in the 2014 and there were over 400 people that attended!

The fine folks from River Valley Ranch are allowing us to use their facilities for camping, horseback riding and all kinds of camporee fun.  They’re even planning a professional horse demonstration on Saturday!

The next  camporee planning meeting will at the Excelsior Library on Thursday, Aug 30, 2018. Time: 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. At the meeting we will  work though the revised version of the Camporee Information Packet and Schedule of Events.  We’ll also confirm what task(s) or event(s) each host unit will be responsible for managing.
