We look forward to seeing all the host units,  Troops 424, 426, 427, 430 and anyone else that may be interested in helping out with Winter Camporee 2018, attend this meeting. Even if you are not with one of the host units, if you are interested in helping with this or other future events, please don’t hesitate to let us know. It is my hope that once again Troop 570 will attend this meeting to manage the Klondike Derby for 2018.

The theme for this year’s camporee is ‘Return of the Yeti’.  The camporee will be held at Baylor Regional Park on Eagle Lake, in Norwood Young America, Friday, February 16 through Sunday, February 18, 2018. Please read the draft informational flyer below.

Please join us for our kick-off planning meeting on Thursday, November 30^th at 6:45PM at the Excelsior Library, in the Water Street Room, 337 Water Street, Excelsior, MN  55331 map

It would be ideal to have a youth leader AND an adult leader from each host unit attend our meeting. We will discuss the overall camporee theme, assign roles to the host units and other district activity staff members, and confirm key program elements.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday as we kick-off our planning meeting.  If your unit cannot send a representative to this meeting, please contact me to confirm that you received this message and we will make sure you are kept up to date as we make our plans.

This is going to be a really fun event and I’m excited about the great program that we’ll be putting together!
