Registration is Closed

We regret to inform you that the Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) training for this upcoming weekend is cancelled due to lack of participation.  You will be refunded your registration money promptly.

As an alternative, you can attend the Fall University of Scouting held October 28, 2017 and get IOLS trained there.  You can find this information at:

We hope to have this training in the Spring as well.

Lake Minnetonka is hosting another “Outdoor Leader Skills Training” course on Sept 30 – Oct 1, 2016. Our courses fill up quickly, so please register early and don’t miss this excellent training opportunity. This course is also a fantastic introduction for parents or other adults in the Troop that are interested in learning more about Boy Scouts and how Troops function.

 Spend the weekend camping as members of “Troop 2016”

  • Where:  At Three Rivers Carver Park in Victoria, MN
  • When:   Arrive Friday evening Sep 30 and Leave Saturday evening Oct 1, 2016
  • What:    All participants will review the outdoor skills required to earn First Class rank (Camping, Cooking, First Aid, and more!) while learning leadership and practicing teamwork within your assigned patrols.

Copy of IMG_2116Note: Scoutmaster Position-Specific Training is no longer combined with this course.  Scoutmaster Position-Specific Training can be  taken at University of Scouting and/or at Lake Minnetonka District Roundtables.

There will be some pre-work required and participants are expected to supply their own tens and personal camping items.
