Youth Protection Begins with YOU!

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) places the greatest importance on creating the most secure environment possible for our youth members. One aspect is having our leaders trained in youth protection. The new YPT curriculum was introduced February 1, 2018 and is good for two years. That means that over the next weeks most adult volunteers will be receiving an email from the BSA reminding us that our YPT Certification is about to expire.

To renew YPT certification, go to my.scouting.org and sign-in. You will see the YPT logo at the upper right of the home page.

Remember, you will not be able to register for District-level roles in May or for unit charter renewal next fall if your YPT is not current.
