Win a trip to one of BSA’s Family Adventure Camps

Adventure is for everyone. Both Scouts and their families can now enjoy the amazing experiences Philmont Scout Ranch, Sea Base and the Summit Bechtel Reserve offer by attending the BSA Family Adventure Camps held at those three high-adventure bases.

You and your family will soon have the chance to win a three-night trip at the camp of your choice.

The Family Adventure Camps, launched at Philmont in 2018 and expanded to Sea Base and the Summit this year, are open to families and groups across the country. Everyone attending doesn’t have to currently be registered with the BSA, so if Scouters wanted to invite grandparents, extended family or friends to camp, they can.

At Philmont, campers can enjoy horseback riding, hiking, COPE, shooting sports and more. At Sea Base, you can go snorkeling, explore the shoreline via kayak or take a sailboat out on the water. At the Summit, you can go zip lining, mountain biking, climbing or tour one of the newest national parks.

No matter where you go, you and your fellow campers will make lasting memories as you enjoy the great outdoors together.

The contest

Tune into Scout Life’s Trek@2 Facebook Live broadcast on May 5 at 2 p.m. CST to win a trip to one of the BSA’s Family Adventure Camps.

All you have to do to be entered to win is comment during the broadcast, which will also be shared on the Scout Shop, Scouting magazine, high-adventure bases and Boy Scouts of America Facebook pages.

The winner will randomly be chosen before the end of the broadcast.

Even if you don’t win, consider booking a family trip at one of the BSA’s Family Adventure Camps. Lodging varies, depending on how much you want to “rough it” — choose from wall tents,deluxe luxury tents or hotel-style rooms.
