URGENT – Time is running out for YPT training – September 30th Deadline!

Dear Unit Leaders,

Time is running out to complete the new Youth Protection Training. The deadline for completion is September 30, 2018.

We are being told by the NATIONAL BSA office that any adult that does not have the new (Current) Your Protection Training by October 1, 2018, must complete a new adult registration AND still complete the training.

Please check with your adult leaders and ensure that they are up to date on their YPT. It will be easier to take the training before October 1, than to deal with all the extra paperwork and headaches afterwards.

Also, the recharter process requires adults to have the current Youth Protection Training before a charter can be accepted.

Go to My.scouting.org to take the training.
