Plan Accordingly to Meet This Goal
Happy July! Summer flies by so fast – which means August is right around the corner! Make your plans now to set the date for your annual calendar planning for the 2016-2017 Scouting year. In addition to planning your recruiting and fundraising programs by the 22nd of August, you will need to submit your calendar, budget, and communications plan to your Unit Commissioner. You know the drill from last year – these are basic documents and you likely have them, or are creating them, as part of normal planning process.
The August deadline covers two JTE 2.0 Guideposts:
• Guidepost 2 – Plan and Fund Your Program (submit a calendar and budget)
• Guidepost 3 – Communicate Your Program (submit a communications plan)
Please work with your unit commissioner to get these documents turned in to him/her by Monday, August 22, 2016. Your calendar, budget, and communications plan may be in PDF, Excel, or Word versions.
