Is there still space available for youth to attend 2017 National Jamboree with Northern Star Council?

Absolutely! We are looking to lock in our number of youth by mid October. So if you, or anyone you know, are on the fence about going to Jamboree, your window is closing. You need to get signed up sooner than later to ensure your space is locked in.

If I’m not sure if I want to attend; is there someone I can talk to about the pros and cons of going?

How much does it cost to go to Jamboree?

The Jamboree will cost $2,499 per participant (adult or youth). This will include the Jamboree fees, food, travel, touring, and any sleeping arrangements during the trip. We suggest bringing some spending money as well for incidentals, souvenirs, etc.

That cost seems like a lot of money

Think about all you’re getting for that price! All your transportation to and from, food, lodging (before Jamboree and during), AND touring Washington DC (YEA! Our Nation’s Capital!). All of that is included. Imagine taking a vacation to the East Coast for 14 days and staying in hotels for that amount of time. It works out to less than $200 a day!
