Remembering Lance Brackee

It is with great sadness that District M, lost one of our great volunteers, Lance Brackee from Troop 3337 and Girls Troop 5337.   Both of his sons and his daughter are actively in Scouting.

Lance Brackee

Lance would light up the room with his presence, always cheerful and energetic, whether it would be at a PLC, or Troop meeting, or at a Camping Event that he would help the Scouts organize.  If I had to describe Lance with 4 words, it would be Scout Oath and Scout Law, which covers everything that he represented since I have known him the past 12 years.

On behalf of District M, and the Northern Star Council, I would like to offer our sincerest condolences to Lance’s Wife Melissa, Sons Hunter and Logan, and Daughter Megan.

Lance’s obituary, as well as a tribute wall and details about his service on Aug 25th, can be found online at https://www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com/obituaries/Lance-Brackee/#!/Obituary

I only met Lance once at a Scout meeting. Nonetheless, he always had a smile on his face, and made everyone feel welcome. He will be missed. Sending my thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.
