oa-100-yearsDecember Chapter Meeting – Annual Planning – The December meeting will focus on the coming year and identifying activities the chapter will participate in and support. Training is an important component and the December LLD will be discussed. Scoutmasters, your OA Troop Representatives are key members of the chapter leadership and we hope you encourage them to start attending, and this meeting is a great time to start. Thursday, December 1st at 7PM, Minnetonka Community Center.

Unit Election Season – The 2017 OA election window runs from January 1st through April 15th. These are FIRM dates. Your troop election meetings should have been scheduled as part of your annual planning event. If your unit is new to holding OA elections, your Chapter officers would be glad to help get you set up. We’d love to help in any way we can. See below for important information being provided at the January Chapter meeting. This month more information will be presented at the December roundtable breakout. If you can’t attend, please contact Brett Schneider directly to answer your questions.

January Chapter Meeting – Election Team and Ceremony Training– The January meeting is designated for training both youth and adults on OA election procedures and cross over ceremonies. Your chapter officers have been prepared by lodge officers to provide training for new and experienced OA election teams. Learn all about the tools and methods for successful elections. Scoutmasters, please announce this to all your Arrowmen and help arrange transportation – we’d love to see as many faces as possible at this important training activity. Thursday, January 5th at 7PM, Minnetonka Community Center.
