Order of the Arrow – Information for All Arrowmen – Oct 22 – Nov 5, 2017

Chapter Conclave Complete – Thanks goes out to all Arrowmen that attended and served at our fall conclave. We inducted 48 ordeal members and converted 28 to brotherhood. The kitchen staff was amazing. Stearns was well received and is our long term home.

November Chapter Meeting – November 2nd – New Member WELCOME – Please join us in November to welcome your new chapter officers and other new Arrowmen. Less business, more fellowship. New officers will outline the activities for the coming months and provide a Q&A brainstorming celebration. Scoutmasters, please send your new OA Troop Reps to hear about the December Lodge Leadership Development training.

December Chapter Meeting – December 7th – Election Training – In December your youth leadership will present all they you need to know about the upcoming OA elections. Youth and adult training will be provided. Plan your election dates now and either arrange for another unit to run your elections or come to the December meeting and learn about chapter election team support.

Upcoming Events:

  • Oct 27, 2017 – Fall Fellowship,  hosted by Trailblazer Chapter, October 27. – Registration is open! This activity is a great way for new Arrowmen to meet other members and experience fellowship while learning more about the OA. Location this year is in Hutchinson and lodge will provide transportation as needed. Open to all dues paid youth and adults. https://scoutingevent.com/250-OAFALLFellowship2017
  • Dec 1-2, 2017 – Lodge Leadership Development – Save the date, more information and a registration page will be available SOON! This unique Arrowmen-only training is for both youth and adults. Learn how your lodge and chapter run and develop new skill relating to all things OA and how to improve unit OA participation.
  • July 30 – August 4, 2018, NOAC,  Indiana University. A Jamboree like experience and the largest gathering of Arrowmen in the country. Registration is through the lodge and there are limited slots. Deadline is fast approaching. If enough youth register early the lodge will ask for more space.
