NORTHERN STAR UNIFORM EXCHANGE IS THERE FOR YOU

If you’re looking to purchase, donate, or receive a good condition, used uniform, we can help. The goal of the Northern Star Uniform Exchange is to see that every Scout has a uniform. If you can’t afford our donation suggestions, please let us know and we’ll take care of you!
PURCHASE UNIFORMS at discounted prices at the Northern Star Leadership Center, 6202 Bloomington Avenue, Fort Snelling, on the second and third Thursday of each month between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM. Uniform Exchange Request form – http://www.northernstarbsa.org/…/Uniform-Exchange…
Upcoming dates are:
  • Thursday, October 15, 2020
  • Thursday, November 12, 2020
  • Thursday, November 19, 2020

  • Thursday, December 17, 2020
You can pick up a great experienced uniform shirt, pants, shorts, socks or hat far cheaper than a brand new one. Whether you’re looking for Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA or Venturing items, we cover them all! It’s best to visit in person to try on your new uniform, but you can also email a request form (below) and we’ll do our best to find the perfect uniform for you. We’ll even find a way to get it to you, but it may take a bit longer.
DONATE EXPERIENCED UNIFORMS to our offices at the Leadership Center at Fort Snelling and we’ll happily get them in the hands of Scouts who need one! Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, and Venturers all need shirts, pants, shorts, socks and hats; we prefer up-to-date items without holes or stains. Keep your t-shirts, sweatshirts, patches, and books along with the great memories from your days wearing the uniform!
RECEIVE UNIFORMS thanks to the generosity of our donors. Any family who cannot afford any portion of the cost of a uniform can receive one without charge. Just let our volunteers know at the exchange or on the uniform request form. Further documentation isn’t required.
PILGRIM CLEANERS ANNUAL UNIFORM DRIVE — The annual Scouting for Uniforms drive is held in July by Pilgrim Cleaners – a community minded business which also originated Coats for Kids. All of their locations will collect and clean donated uniforms to replenish our uniform exchange. Since 2007, more than 4,300 uniforms have been re-purposed through this campaign.
