New Order of the Arrow Fall Conclave Schedule Back to October

Hello Unit Leaders and Arrowmen

Late last year I sent an announcement about a change to the fall induction Conclave due to issues that arose with our past host, Camp Tanadoona. At that time we had planned to move the event into August. However, during recent Chapter and Lodge meetings it was further reviewed and an alternative time was requested by many parties who routinely support Conclave. So, after a lot more research with council professionals and our core staff OA members, we have reached a new decision:

For fall 2017, our new, now official, site and date will be Tonkawa Lodge at Camp Stearns on October 6-8. So we have returned to our more typical weekend but at one of the premier locations in Northern Star Council.

I regret that this change has come so late in the scouting year. But I wanted to contact unit leaders to let them know now that they won’t have any significant changes to make regarding notification of recently elected Scouts and parents. Per the normal routine, the Lodge will contact the council summer camps and normal callouts will be same as they always were.
