Merit Badge Counselor Training – Jan 17, 2019

Merit Badge Counselors are a critical component to a Scout’s advancement. To be a Merit Badge Counselor (even within just your own unit) you must:

  • Be registered as a Merit Badge Counselor with Northern Star Council
  • Have up-to-date Youth Protection training
  • Complete the Merit Badge Counselor training course

This 60-minute live training will take you through the Merit Badge Counselor training course. Any registered BSA adult leader is eligible to take this course.

Stick around after this training course for Youth Protection Training too! A 45-minute Youth Protection Training session will be offered immediately following the Merit Badge Counselor session. One registration covers both sessions.

  • Cost: Free!
  • Space is limited to 20 attendees.
