Lake Minnetonka District Scout Night at the Timberwolves - February 22, 2009
On Sunday, February 22, 2009, Lake Minnetonka District Scouts, Scouters, and their families enjoyed a sell-out game of pro basketball as the Timberwolves hosted the Los Angeles Lakers at Target Center. The attendees (799 of them!) received their discounted tickets through online sales at www.lakeminnetonkadistrict.org. Participants witnessed Scouts from Pack and Troop 283 present the colors for the on-court, pregame flag ceremony. Following the game, they attended an autograph session with the Timberwolves players. Some units used the event as a recruiting activity, and a great time was had by all!
