2007 Webelos Experience

What a weekend! This past weekend over 2200 Webelos and parents had a phenomenal Scouting experience at Stearns Scout Camp as they participated in the 2007 Webelos Experience. More than 300 volunteer staff put on this tremendous event where boys had the opportunity to do everything from "blanket volleyball" to climbing inside an armored personnel carrier. The daylong events

culminated in a stage show complete with a performance by the band, Rich and The Resistors, a slideshow highlighting the day's events, and a fireworks display lasting more than 16 minutes.

We had close to 400 people in our Sub-Camp - Thanks to Rick Henrickson for chairing this event for our District. Well run - amazing - our volunteers ROCK!!! (Patti Czech)

Nominate Your Unit Commissioner

As the result of a survey taken by adult leaders last fall, Lake Minnetonka District has initiated a new program designed to improve two-way communications between Units and the District. “Nominate Your Unit Commissioner” allows Units a choice to either keep their currently assigned Unit Commissioner or nominate one of the adult leaders from their Unit.
