Lake Minnetonka Unit Top 2016 Popcorn Seller
The 2016 Popcorn Sale came to a close in October and I am excited to share the results. Over 7,000 Scouts from the Northern Star Council raised funds for the Scouting adventure last fall through the Popcorn sale. These Scouts sold $3,351,950 of Trails End popcorn by many different ways; Door to Door, in front of their local store, online and their family and friends. 73% of those sales go DIRECTLY back to Scouting programs. That is $2,446,925 back to Scouting for campouts, equipment, winter camping and much much more!
I am also proud to announce that Northern Star Council is the 2nd largest popcorn sale in the country! Great job Scouts, parents, volunteers and anyone who helped make that a reality!
