June District Committee Meeting – Wednesday, June 12th
Dear District Committee Member,
For our June District Meeting, please plan on attending the District Committee Training and Key 4
Meeting, held this Wednesday, June 12, at the Northern Star Scouting Leadership Center at Base Camp. We will not meet separately as a Lake Minnetonka District Committee.
Are you a new district membership chair, or a district membership committee member. Maybe you’re an old-time district chair, unit commissioner, or round table staff, that needs to better understand recruitment and retention of Scouts in your district. Join the Council Membership team on June 12 to find out the best practices for increasing Scouts in your units.
The District Committee Training Workshop meets the basic need of “new” members of the District Committee. The workshop also results in a well-coordinated and dedicated group of Scouters committed to achieving the mission of the council and its districts. The workshop also helps initiate a working relationship between council and district personnel. This meeting will be held in conjunction with a Key 4 Meeting.
