Journey to Excellence District Award - GOLD 2019

"Scouting's Journey to Excellence" is the BSA's council performance recognition program designed to encourage and reward success and measure the performance of our units, districts, and councils. It replaced the Centennial Quality Awards Program as a means of encouraging excellence in providing a quality program at all levels of the BSA."

CONGRATULATIONS to all units on achieving this collective goal for the third year in a row!

The Lake Minnetonka District achieved Gold for Journey to Excellence for 2019 based on the great work being done with our units. This is the third year in a row that Lake Minnetonka earned Gold JTE as a District.

Again, congratulations to all units for the effort you put into the JTE. By following the guidelines you are ensuring a quality program for your youth.

Information about the 2020 JTE will be released in the next month or two.

Notice:

Please remember that this is a unit self-improvement tool and is not to be used for other purposes such as unit-to-unit competition as we are trying to foster growth in all our units. We encourage units that did not qualify - or that qualified for lower levels - to contact those units that qualified for gold to find ways to improve their program so they can qualify for a higher level in 2019 as well.
