Join Troop 141 for a Northern Tier High Adventure – Aug 4-11, 2019 – Space is Available

Northern Tier is the Boy Scouts of America’s gateway to adventure in the Great Northwoods. The flagship base of Northern Tier, the Charles L. Sommers Canoe Base, has hosted Boy Scout canoe expeditions on the shores of Moose Lake since 1941.

Troop 141 is planning a seven-night trip to the BWCAW out of Ely, MN. Scouts must be 14 years of age or be 13 years old and have completed 8th grade to attend. We are planning for a crew of nine (two adults, six youth and one Northern Tier guide) and will be renting 46 lbs. Wenonah 18-foot Kevlar Champlain’s with three seats.

Cost is budgeted at $725 and that includes all expenses.
