IS YOUR UNIT READY FOR SCHOOL NIGHT FOR SCOUTING?????
School Night for Scouting is fast approaching on Thursday September 19th, 6-7pm at all Elementary Schools. Open houses are behind us, now being out in your School for School Night for Scouting, being visible and talking about how much fun Scouting is, is key to your pack’s recruitment.
Use the Media resources to help promote the night ahead of time on Facebook, Instagram, Next Door App and go out and share your scouting spirit http://www.northernstar.org/2019-recruiting-resources. Have your yard signs out ahead of time and your volunteers ready on the night, full of excitement ready to share about you unit
On the Night of School Night for Scouting, be sure to be there ahead of time and set up ready from 6-7pm. Be mindful to:
- Be in Uniform
- Have copies of your pack calander and pack information sheet
- Being engaging with families, the emphasis is sign up and go, parents should be in and out in 30 mins or less
- Cost of registration is $44 which covers the remainder of 2019 and 2020. Optional Boys life is $16.

Once you are done at your School, each unit should deliver all applications to the Turn-In Center, located at the Lake Minnetonka Community Center,14600 Minnetonka Blvd, Minnetonka, MN 55345. The district team will be there to review all application and provide a final payment amount (so please be sure to bring the unit checkbook). There will also be additional recruitment t-shirts and fall day camp vouchers on hand at the Turn-in Center.
