Both the show and class are held at the Earle Brown Heritage Center, 6155 Earle Brown Drive, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430. The class is on Saturday morning March 21st. Check in time begins at 8:30 and the class will run from 9:00 am to between 1:30 & 2:00pm. There will be Whitman Merit Badge Coin Folders available to each attendee. There are some coins you’ll need to collect in order to complete the class. Please refer to this downloadable workbook and to this requirement resources link.
If you intend to complete this in one day, you’ll need to complete requirements 6-9. Here are some hints!
There are some coins you’ll need to collect in order to complete the class. The show starts on Friday and runs through Sunday. You will have an opportunity during this session to visit the show…please bring money if you need coins to complete your requirements. You will leave with a “Current” Kennedy Half dollar, so keep that in mind while working on your requirements.
If all goes as planned you should be able to complete this Merit Badge that day! I have individual Merit Badge Books and “Coin Collecting Merit Badge” coin folders also for each attendee.
- Each Scout’s name and Troop number.
- An emergency contact and phone number for each Scout for the day of the class.
