Dear Pack, Troop and District Volunteers:
We invite you to join us as we recognize our very deserving volunteers, that were nominated last spring for Pack, Troop and District awards.
This spring, we were unable to host our traditional District Dinner / Awards Banquet. While we had hoped to host everyone for another wonderful evening in person, with the continuing challenges with Covid-19, we have decided we will “Do our Best” to have an awards night and recognize multiple outstanding Scouters. It should be a great evening of fun and entertainment that celebrates the best work being done in our units.
District Award Celebration Details
Date: October 8th 6pm
Location: Victoria Lion’s Pavilion – 1505 82nd Street, Victoria
Venue Details: 25 leaders can attend in person; preference will be given to award recipients and families. Other District volunteers are encouraged to join us online (link coming soon!) to support their Pack, Troop and District nominee award winners
Presentation and Awards Details: The presentation for Cub Scout, Troop, District awards, Glowing Ember winners, William D. Boyce New Unit Organizer Awards and District Award of Merit, will be broadcast from the Pavilion.
Registration Details: There is no fee for the event, but we ask that you do register with your preference for attendance (in-person or virtual) to allow us to plan for attendance. Given the limitations for in-person attendees, preference will be given to award recipients and families.
