2016 Scouting for Uniforms Results

350+ Uniforms Collected

The ninth annual Scouting for Uniforms campaign was once again widely successful. The Pilgrim Cleaners stores collected 273 donated items and they also received a few hats and pins. The mid campaign event that was held on July 18 collected 50 items and also $100 in monetary donations. An additional $200 was received in online donations. In total, around 350 uniforms were collected for Scouts! This is really a great number and we couldn’t do this without the communities help.

The Scouting for Uniforms campaign is so important because it gives Scouts who might not have the means to buy their own uniforms a uniform. Many Scouts find pride in dawning their Scout uniform. This campaign allows all Scouts from all backgrounds to share that same pride. Along with the abundance of uniform donations, the monetary donations help us buy popular sizes. This campaign wouldn’t be possible without the communities willingness to donate, so we thank you for your contributions and to making this campaign a large success!
